Mental Fabric

Mental Fabric

Elissa Ross and Dustin Wenzel

Mental Fabric is a kaleidoscopic merging of anatomical and mathematical visual information. In mathematics, biology, and fine art, mapping and diagrammatic processes are central to assist in recording, translating, describing, and comprehending. The conjoining of imagery in the work re-flects the nature of mental images to be overlaid upon one another and for seemingly disjointed visual information to be combined in our minds in order to make sense of the diverse ways of seeing that are required to live in the world and to understanding ourselves within it. Please join us in this investigation by adding tiles to the work.
